about me

I am an accomplished seamstress having sewn since childhood. With the guidance of my mother I began sewing Barbie doll clothes at an early age then moved on to sewing my own at a time when this was much less expensive than store bought.

I began my quilting experience in my teens when I made a patchwork quilt for my sister using old cordoury jeans. As you can imagine, it may not have been the most beautiful quilt, but I put a lot of love into it!

I've been piecing tops and machine quilting for years. I've finished dozen of projects from wall hangings and table runners to baby, lap and queen sized quilts. I've designed, pieced and quilted custom quilts as well as repaired some heirloom treasures.

I routinely complete charity quilts for Project Linus, Relay for Life, Quilts of Valor and the California Organ and Tissue Donor Network.

I am a long arm quilter with the ability to both create and sew custom digitized patterns in a variety of sizes, including king sized quilts. I have a strong work ethic and a self-imposed demand for excellence. I am responsive to my customers' needs and will have your quilt completed when promised.

Some call me a Red Hot Quilter, since in a former career I was employed as a Fire Marshal enforcing life-safety and hazardous material laws and regulations. But alas, that is another story!
